Tchaikovsky’s “Pathétique”, his profoundly moving final symphony, expresses life’s beauty and sorrow with an eloquence that is unmatched. Conducted by Gustavo Gimeno, this concert also features the world première of I Want to Be Alive—Trilogy for Orchestra, a powerful exploration of human vitality by Icelandic composer Daníel Bjarnason.
