2023/24 Subscription Season

Music Director Gustavo Gimeno has crafted a season that honours our past while exploring new music, new artists, and new ways to bring our Orchestra to you, as we boldly begin a new chapter for your Toronto Symphony Orchestra.The Masterworks Series is filled with familiar classics and sure-to-be-favourite compositions of tomorrow. In fact, for the first time, each Masterworks program includes a piece that has never been performed by your TSO before. Highlights of the series include guest artists and conductors Michael Tilson Thomas, Emily D’Angelo, James Ehnes, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and so many others.

Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke has put together an unforgettable Pops Series and, our Young People’s Concert Series, led by Barrett Principal Education Conductor & Community Ambassador Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, includes performances that will take the young and young at heart on journeys back in time and across the globe.

Among our Special Performances are a highly anticipated evening with Tony- and Emmy Award-winner Audra McDonald and the return of Home Alone in concert John Williams’ unforgettable score performed live to film.
