Conductor Emeritus Peter Oundjian leads a program that spotlights new voices and musical portraits, beginning with a World Première by RBC Affiliate Composer Liam Ritz. Spectacular saxophonist Steven Banks then brings to life Joan Tower’s lyrical Love Returns, a soulful new concerto reflecting on how love resurfaces through struggle and renewal, before the orchestra invites listeners on Mussorgsky’s vivid walk through an art gallery in Pictures at an Exhibition.

Enhance your concert experience by arriving early for exquisite performances by the TSO Chamber Soloists, thoughtfully curated by Jonathan Crow. There will be a pre-concert performance at 1:45pm included with the price of your ticket to the Sunday, May 16 performance.
