Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, the TSO’s dynamic Barrett Principal Education Conductor & Community Ambassador, gets excited about upcoming Young People’s Concerts and Relaxed Performances on Sunday Night at the TSO with The New Classical FM.
Delight in a musical menagerie as we bring two animal adventures vividly to life with Prokofiev’s timeless symphonic fable, Peter and the Wolf, and Kiwis Can’t Play the Violin—a World Première from TSO RBC Affiliate Composer Emilie LeBel. Kiwis Can’t Play the Violin is based on an original children’s book about the wonders that encouragement can accomplish.
A Relaxed Performance is also available for neurodiverse audience members, including patrons on the autism spectrum, those with sensory and communication disorders, people with learning disabilities, or those who simply want a more informal concert experience.
