The TSO has been actively engaging with communities in the GTA to support well-being throughout the past year. Our new program with the Chinese Cultural Centre (CCC) is the latest of these community outreach efforts, giving older adults in this community a personal peek into the TSO world and musicians’ lives.
Although the TSO has partnered with the Chinese community over the last several years with concerts, events, and celebrations, this new program, “TSO x CCC Engage”, is furthering and deepening our relationship with the community. The first scheduled concerts held in March were so positively received that the weekly sessions were extended through to the end of May. We are now in the early planning stages of future collaborations with the CCC.
“TSO x CCC Engage” concerts continue on Thursdays at 2:00pm until the end of May, are open to the public, and free of charge.
