From September 2023 to June 2024, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra presents a wide variety of unforgettable experiences signalling a bold new beginning for the organization in its 101st year. These concerts and initiatives reflect the TSO’s commitment to showcasing superlative talent across musical genres, prominently featuring voices reflecting Toronto’s diverse communities, and supporting new works by Canadian creators.

  • More than 30 works performed by the Orchestra for the very first time
  • Opening night: Music Director Gustavo Gimeno leads Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F performed by Jean-Yves Thibaudet

  • Family-friendly films Superman, Home Alone, and Disney’s Coco with live orchestral accompaniment
  • Legendary Canadian jazz artist Molly Johnson sings seasonal favourites at Holiday Pops
  • Three Relaxed Performances for neurodiverse audiences, including a Masterworks concert
  • Four all-new Young People’s Concerts, including Classical Kids LIVE’s Saint-Georges’ Sword & Bow and Dan Brown’s Wild Symphony
  • The Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra marks its golden anniversary
