Premièring this December, the multi-award-winning innovative team at Against the Grain Theatre (AtG) is proud to present a bold interpretation of Handel’s Messiah, accompanied by and in partnership with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO), and co-directed by Joel Ivany, the Founding Artistic Director of AtG, and Reneltta Arluk, Director of Indigenous Arts at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
Tapestry Opera has invited the TSO to be its Orchestral Partner in an initiative aimed at ending the gender imbalance in conducting roles.

The TSO’s first-ever drive-in performance took place on Wednesday, October 7 at CityView Drive-In, when over 20 musicians reunited on stage (socially distanced, of course!) for a program of Ragtime favourites.
