TSO in the News: Performances for Isolated Seniors
April 8, 2021During these difficult times, TSO musicians are building personal connections with our community and offering heartwarming virtual concerts through two outreach programs—TSOUND CONNECTIONS and The Bright Spot.
CTV News, Global News Toronto, and CityNews captured seniors singing and dancing along with TSO musicians, and the joy that these virtual performances bring to them.
TSOUND CONNECTIONS
With over 100 virtual performances for members of the Alzheimer Society of Peel and residents of Baycrest, a long-term-care home, TSO musicians have brought joy and a sense of community to isolated seniors.
Our TSOUND CONNECTIONS program was launched as a response to the devastating impact that the pandemic has had on older adults, and journalists have been eager to tell this moving story.
