Play Along with Jonathan Crow, TSO Concertmaster

Perform alongside the TSO Concertmaster virtually! The Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Toronto Summer Music (TSM) are offering an interactive playing challenge as a way to get people at home making music over the holidays.

Download one of our interactive videos and play Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins along with Jonathan Crow, Concertmaster of the TSO and Artistic Director of TSM. We encourage you to post your videos on social media and become eligible for the opportunity to perform live with Jonathan (when it is safe to do so).

It's easy, and other instruments can play along too using the transpositions below! From enthusiastic amateurs and accomplished students, to folks with a new and creative take on Bach’s well-loved work, we can’t wait to see your performances.

A jury will select one individual for the opportunity to play live with Jonathan Crow.

All videos will also be eligible for other prizes including private lessons with Jonathan and members of the TSO, a full scholarship to TSM's 2021 Community Academy program for advanced amateur musicians, and ticket vouchers to TSO and TSM concerts when it is safe to resume live performances.
