Jennifer Thompson
Violin

As a native of the U.S., Jenny Thompson studied under the tutelage of Paul Kantor at the University of Michigan, where she graduated as an Angell Scholar with a bachelor's degree in violin performance. Jenny continued her studies at Rice University with Kathleen Winkler where she graduated with a master’s degree in performance. Upon graduation, Jenny won her position in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in 1999.
Jenny has appeared and recorded with a variety of artists including Owen Pallett, Blue Rodeo, and John McDermott, among others. She spends her summers performing in the Grand Teton Music Festival in Jackson Hole, WY.
