Violist Daniel Blackman joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in 1988. Prior to his tenure with the TSO, he was a member of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the CBC Vancouver Orchestra. He has maintained a strong involvement with chamber music throughout his career, and was a founding member of the Vetta String Quartet. Daniel has been heard in broadcast on CBC Radio with many different chamber groups. His other interests include wine making and bicycling.
