Carol Lynn Fujino

Carol Fujino joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in 1991, and made her solo début with the Orchestra two years later, playing in Vivaldi’s Concerto for Four Violins. Prior to her joining the TSO, Ms. Fujino served as Assistant Concertmaster for the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra. She has concertized throughout North America, Europe, and Asia; recently, she completed a tour of China with Soundstreams Canada. Ms. Fujino has been heard on CBC Radio as a soloist with the Esprit Orchestra, and is an active chamber musician, collaborating with ensembles such as the Gryphon Trio, Accordes Quartet, Continuum Contemporary Music Ensemble, and the Amici Chamber Ensemble. As a recording artist, Ms. Fujino has played for numerous films and television programs, and has collaborated on recordings of many new works in various genres. Ms. Fujino studied with Steven Staryk at the University of Toronto , where she was an Eaton Scholarship recipient.
