Christopher Reiche Boucher

Principal Librarian

Christopher Reiche Boucher began serving as Principal Librarian for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in spring 2022. Before coming to Toronto, he was the librarian for the Victoria Symphony in BC. Other past appointments include Victoria Engagement Leader for the Canadian Music Centre and New Music Curator for Open Space Arts Society. Reiche Boucher completed his undergraduate degree focusing on theory and composition from Wilfrid Laurier University, and completed a Master of Music degree in composition at the University of Victoria. He was president of the Canadian League of Composers from 2016 to 2020. When not working on orchestral librarian tasks, Reiche Boucher can be found composing or performing contemporary experimental music with his friends.
