The Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee (TSVC) has been organizing a TSO Team for Toronto’s Waterfront Marathon since 2013—but this year’s event looked a little bit different.
The TSO was deeply affected by the death on October 8 of Canadian soprano Erin Wall. She was 44 years old. Tributes to her, some of which we share with you here, have poured in from TSO musicians, guest artists, staff, and patrons.
We go behind the scenes at the filming of Kings of Ragtime and The Ultimate Guide to Eating Halloween Candy for TSO On Demand.
How do we forge connections through music without in-person interactions?
The TSO’s first-ever drive-in performance took place on Wednesday, October 7 at CityView Drive-In, when over 20 musicians reunited on stage (socially distanced, of course!) for a program of Ragtime favourites.
We recently announced a partnership with the YMCA of Greater Toronto, to support well-being and bring communities together over the coming year.
The TSO held its virtual Annual General Meeting on September 30, and we're pleased to present our 2019/20 Annual Letter to the Community.
In this episode of Ludwig van Toronto’s new podcast, REMOTE, CEO Matthew Loden and host Michael Zarathus-Cook embark on a wide-ranging, in-depth conversation about the last few months, and our hopes for the future.
