Recognizing how difficult it can be to read tough news headlines during a pandemic, the TSO has collaborated with the Toronto Star to provide readers with a weekly Musical Moment, to bring some joy and beauty to the experience of reading the paper. Every Thursday for the past six months, TSO musicians have recorded performances from their homes or different parts of the city, and shared their talent on the Toronto Star’s website.
“Like the Toronto Star, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra is here to serve Torontonians throughout the GTA,” said TSO CEO Matthew Loden. “We hope that this performance series serves as a hopeful musical tonic as readers review challenging but important headlines.”
