Eminent Finnish conductor and former TSO Music Director Jukka-Pekka Saraste spoke about his two exciting appearances this season with the TSO on The New Classical FM on Mar. 13.
Jukka-Pekka explains the importance of Sibelius to the Finnish people, as well as the ways in which Symphonies No. 5 and No. 7 demonstrate the composer “finding his way”:
