Spanish conductor Juanjo Mena, Chief Conductor of the BBC Philharmonic, returns to lead Schubert’s rich, broadly-scaled final symphony. In soloist Marc-André Hamelin—a member of the prestigious Gramophone magazine Hall of Fame—Ravel’s ingenious, jazz-tinged Concerto for the Left Hand finds its ideal interpreter.
