Brahms German Requiem
Triple Concerto for Canadian Concertmasters
Scored for two vocal soloists, chorus, and orchestra, and setting German-language texts from the Lutheran Bible, A German Requiem is Brahms’s most expansive and moving composition. The concertmasters of the TSO, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra pool their talents in an intriguing new concerto by Alexina Louie.
