A Message from Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser
My name is Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, and I’m the TSO’s Barrett Principal Education Conductor & Community Ambassador. This is now my second year leading the programs, and I am thrilled to announce the resumption of in-person Young People’s Concerts.
First up, in Peter, the Wolf, and the Kiwi, we bring two animal adventures vividly to life through performance and narration. The concert features Peter & the Wolf, as well as a new breakout work composed by Emilie Lebel, based on the children’s story Kiwis Can’t Play the Violin by Pierre Rivard. Then, in May, get ready to experience all the feels during mad.sad.glad, a concert showcasing how a range of emotions can be expressed—and experienced—through music. Each of these concerts will be also done as Relaxed Performance, with more details to come.
We can’t wait to welcome you back to Roy Thomson Hall. We look forward to being a part of your family’s learning journey.
