Friends of the TSO
Annual Gift of $100 or More ($10 per Month)
Why Become a Friend of the TSO?
The Friends of the TSO provide a critically important base of funding to support the TSO’s acclaimed performances, and vital community and education programs. Every gift makes a difference! All donations of $20 or more will be recognized with a charitable tax receipt. Friends donor benefits start with a gift of $100 or more annually.
To have the greatest impact, consider a monthly gift of $10 to become a Friend of the TSO. As a committed Music by the Month donor, you will provide a steady and reliable source of funding for the Orchestra in a way that’s convenient for you.
Your monthly gifts and recognition will continue without interruption, though you can contact us at any time to cancel or adjust your gift amount. The Friends of the TSO is an annual donor membership program. A minimum full-year commitment is required to maintain access to donor benefits.
Your Gift at Work
Philanthropy is a significant source of funding for the TSO every year, and now more than ever. Your support will fund the TSO’s live performances, our continued and expanded work in the community, our evolving digital offerings, our ongoing education and mentorship programs like the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra (TSYO) and school programs, and the artistic engagement and growth of our TSO musicians as we celebrate our 100th anniversary.
2021/22 Friends Donor Benefits
We continue to adapt the TSO’s donor membership benefits and privileges in meaningful ways to recognize your critical and loyal support and show our sincere gratitude. We will be launching a new donor benefits model for our 2022/23 season in the late summer/early fall of 2022.
For the 2021/22 season, all Friends members will be kept up to date on the impact of their support through member communications, including our Noteworthy e-newsletter and donor magazine, and engaged through:
- Invitations to exclusive donor events—including Donor Open Rehearsals
- Curated behind-the-scenes TSO digital content
- Priority access to TSO programming, such as advance notice of newly scheduled performances
