Elim Chan leads Rachmaninoff’s ever-popular Piano Concerto No. 3, performed by the incomparable Lukáš Vondráček. The program continues with a moving World Première by Indigenous composer Cris Derksen, created in collaboration with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and concludes with Shostakovich’s playful and witty Ninth Symphony.
