Mendelssohn’s sparkling “Italian” Symphony takes listeners on a journey through the picturesque landscapes and lively streets of Italy. Under the baton of Gustavo Gimeno, this Relaxed Masterworks program also features the World Première of a vibrant new work by Bekah Simms, and a few other surprises and delights.
