Weston Weekends

Beethoven & Brahms

Sat, May 29–Sun, May 30, 2027 George Weston Recital Hall

Mel Bonis’s “Salome” paints a vivid portrait drawn from myth and legend, leading into Beethoven’s dramatic Piano Concerto No. 3, performed by rising Canadian pianist Ryan Wang, a Lang Lang International Music Foundation Young Scholar. Brahms’s Symphony No. 2 brings the afternoon to a magnificent finish, washed in pastoral beauty, glowing melodies, and radiant calm.
