TSYO 45th Season Finale

For their 45th season’s finale, the TSYO delivers an awe-inspiring, all-Russian program starting with the melancholy and atmospheric Prelude to Khovanshchina by Modest Mussorgsky. The Suite from The Love for Three Oranges by Sergei Prokofiev follows, at times bringing elements of buffoonery, terror, romance, and pandemonium. The performance concludes with the tragic Symphony No. 10 by Dmitri Shostakovich. This will be the TSYO’s first time performing a full-length masterworks concert at Roy Thomson Hall.
