Pictures at an Exhibition

“Worthless,” declared the composer’s friends. “Impossible to play.” But Tchaikovsky refused to change a note of what became history’s most romantic and popular piano concerto. Sergei Babayan plays Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto. And the TSO’s virtuosity is showcased in Pictures at an Exhibition. This concert is available in the Friday 1 Masterworks, Saturday 1 Masterworks, and Sunday Matinee Masterworks subscription series.

The previously announced TSO performances of Pictures at an Exhibition on March 20, 21, and 22, 2020 have been moved to March 13, 14, and 15, 2020 due to scheduling conflicts.
