For the Festival’s finale, Gary Kulesha has written a double concerto as a showcase for two brilliant members of the Orchestra: Concertmaster Jonathan Crow and Principal Viola Teng Li. Rounding out this exciting program are the vibrant concert symphony that John Adams drew from his opera Doctor Atomic, and Insomnia, a vivid portrait of a sleepless night by Finnish composer Esa-Pekka Salonen.
