Denk Plays Mozart
The sensationally gifted American pianist (and MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship recipient) Jeremy Denk leads and performs the solo part of two of Mozart’s most enchanting piano concertos. No. 19 is light, full of grace, and wholeheartedly jubilant. A mere two years later, Mozart’s abilities had developed to the point where he produced the imposing No. 25, quite possibly the finest of all his concertos for piano and orchestra. Concert running time is approximately two hours including a 20-minute intermission.
