FREE pre-concert chats – learn more about the music you love!
You adore the music, but you're not sure when, how and why it came about. What does the composer want you to hear, and why? What should you listen for? And what is the difference between a symphony and a concerto anyway?
You'll find all you need, and more, at the informal and conversational pre-concert chat sessions with classical music specialist Rick Phillips. By gaining a bit of knowledge behind the works heard, and maybe asking a few questions, you'll find your love and appreciation of great classical music will become even greater than it is now.
Pre-concert chats will take place in the lobby at Roy Thomson Hall before the following 2010.2011 TSO concerts:
