Auditions for the TSYO 2013/2014 season will take place September 6-8, 2013 at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Music, in the Edward Johnson Building (80 Queens Park). (Note: Auditions on Friday, September 6 will take place between 4pm-9pm.)
Audition excerpts and requirements will be sent to you after your application and cheques have been received by the TSYO office. Auditions include prepared pieces, specified orchestral excerpts, and technical exercises. Former TSYO members must re-audition each season.

Applications received electronically will not be processed until payment is received.
TSYO Fees - 2013/2014
Audition Fee: $30.00
Due by August 9, 2013 (non-refundable).
Registration Fee: $720.00
Due by August 9, 2013.
Two payment options available:
Payment option 1: Send one cheque for $720.00 dated for August 9, 2013
Payment option 2: Send two cheques for $360.00 each; the first, dated for August 9, 2013 and the second post-dated for Jan. 15, 2014. If the split payment option is preferred, both cheques must still be submitted with the application form by August 9, 2013.
All cheques must be made payable to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (or TSO). No registration cheques will be cashed until October 4, 2013. Applicants who are not asked to join the TSYO will have their cheques returned via mail by October 4, 2013. Should a member of the TSYO choose to withdraw from the orchestra after October 4, 2013, first term registration fees ($360.00) will be non-refundable.
Late Fee $20.00
Applied only to applications post-marked or received by email after August 9, 2013. Late applicants are not guaranteed an audition slot; audition fee, late fee and registration fee cheques will be returned via mail if an audition cannot be granted.
TYSO AUDITION RESULTS
TSYO Audition Results will be posted on the TSYO Members Page at 11:00am on Monday September 9, 2013.
