All concerts are one hour long and take place in Roy Thomson Hall.

Celebrate the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's 90th season as the TSO performs some of the most well-known and loved classical music to date. Led by Maestro John Morris Russell, this concert will feature the remarkable Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven, with dialogue on style and content between each movement. Join the TSO for a musical journey that will have you listening to classical favourites with a whole new perspective.

The TSO is pleased to present this unique student concert, featuring TSO Music Director PeterOundjianandrenowned concert pianist, Lang Lang. Playing the piano since the age of 2, Lang Lang made his professional debut at age 13. Since then, he has performed at the Beijing Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony, for U.S. President Barack Obama, and alongside American Idol's Katharine McPhee. Spend an hour as Lang Lang demonstrates the virtuosity and creativity required of orchestral soloists, while Peter Oundjian illustrates the abilities in a concert designed for avid music students.

How to purchase:

Teachers in the Durham Catholic, Peel District, Toronto District (Intermediate) and York Region School Boards are able to purchase tickets for these concerts directly through their boards in the fall of 2011. All other teachers interested in having their students attend these concerts can order tickets using the below form.
