Brahms Symphony 4
The surging power of Brahms's final symphony crowns this impressively varied programme. Hailed by The Times of London for her "breathtaking control and warmly supple soprano," Karina Gauvin takes centre stage for an intriguing song cycle by Benjamin Britten. Guest conductor Jean-Marie Zeitouni adds the tender emotions and pastel colours of a theatre score by Gabriel Fauré.
