How to Order Tickets

There are three easy ways to order tickets to the TSO:
Online at www.tso.ca

Buy tickets online, 24 hours a day through our secure web site. There is a service charge of $5.75 per ticket for all online orders.

By Phone

Call the Toronto Symphony Orchestra Ticket Line at 416.593.4828. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Our phone lines are open:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Saturday, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
  • Sunday, three hours prior to concert time

There is a service charge of $5.75 per ticket (including GST) for all phone orders.

In Person

  • Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 PM, or until the concert start time
  • Saturday, noon to 5:00 PM, or until the concert start time
  • Sunday, three hours prior to concert time.

Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards, cash, debit cards, money orders and gift certificates are accepted at both of the following box office locations. There are no service charges for in-person ticket purchases.

Sales Policy: Please note, that all individual concert ticket sales (non-subscription) are final. There are no refunds or cancellations. In the case of an exchange, a fee of $8 per ticket will apply for non-subscribers. For more information or to exchange your tickets please contact Toronto Symphony Orchestra Customer Service at 416.598.3375, Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm. Concert Going Tips

We don't want you to miss a note!

Check your tickets carefully for concert time and venue information. When coming to a concert, please remember that traffic, parking, and weather can affect your arrival time, so leave early to make sure you’re not late.

Latecomers and patrons leaving the auditorium will be admitted at a suitable interval. The TSO assumes no responsibility for portions of any concert missed due to lateness and cannot make any adjustment in the ticket price. The TSO reserves the right to refund the purchase price and refuse admission.

  • Cameras, pagers, cellular phones, and recording devices are strictly forbidden without prior consent of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

Ticket Exchanges

FIRST DAY TO EXCHANGE: August 20, 2013

The TSO permits ticket exchanges into most concerts up to 48 hours prior to the concert date. This service is free to subscribers, and costs $8 per ticket for individual ticket buyers.

At TSO Concerts at Roy Thomson Hall
You may drop off your tickets at the Customer Service desk in the lobby before the concert, and we will have your new tickets ready for pick up during intermission. For concerts with no intermission, we will make alternate arrangements.

To Complete Your Exchange:

1. Invalidate your original tickets by writing VOID across them.
2. MAIL your voided tickets to:

OR

FAX a copy of your voided tickets to: 416.598.9522

Please include your name, patron number, and daytime telephone number on the fax. If your voided tickets are received 3 weeks prior to the new concert date they will be mailed, or if received less than 3 weeks your new tickets will be available for pick-up at the Box Office.

Important Exchange Notes

While we offer the most flexible subscription exchange policy in Toronto, some exceptions apply:

August 20, 2013 is the first day that requests for ticket exchanges will be processed.
Only subscribers are exempt from exchange fees.
In the case of an exchange, a fee of $8 per ticket will apply for non-subscribers. Please note - exchanges must be made 48 hours prior to the concert date.
To exchange your tickets, please contact Toronto Symphony Orchestra Customer Service at 416.598.3375, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Tickets may be exchanged out of any concert date.
The TSO cannot permit ticket exchanges into any of the concert dates listed here.
Exchanges are subject to availability. The TSO reserves the right to refuse exchange privileges into or out of any performance.
Exchanges are "a ticket for a ticket". The TSO will issue you one ticket for each ticket you wish to exchange.
You will be charged the difference (if any) in subscription-ticket value between the ticket(s) you hold and the ticket(s) for the desired performance.
Please note that exchanges made into a lower price level/series will not receive a refund, credit, or tax receipt for the difference.
Exchanges can only be made for concerts in the 12.13 season.
