Resident Conductor

The TSO is accepting applications for a Resident Conductor, aimed at emerging young Canadian conductors who are beginning their careers in the Canadian orchestral world. The Resident Conductor will work closely with Music Director Peter Oundjian and the Artistic Staff of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra with complete access to all TSO rehearsals and performances. Throughout the two-year term, there will be opportunities to work with TSO guest conductors for consultation, coaching, and discussion. The Resident Conductor will conduct a selection of concerts throughout the TSO season and act as Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra.
