Tchaikovsky Spectacular
Ainars Rubikis
The TSYO joins the TSO for a programme of ballet and symphonic works by Tchaikovsky. His first symphony displays all the hallmarks of his mature style: melody, colour, and surging emotion. Pianist Alon Goldstein, praised by The New York Times for an "irresistible powerhouse performance," takes the spotlight for the mighty Concerto No. 2.
