Sir Andrew Davis, the TSO's distinguished Conductor Laureate, brings his seasoned artistry to Strauss's multi-faceted symphonic poem portraying the adventures of Don Quixote, the aging, noble Spanish knight. Pianist Jan Lisiecki, gifted far beyond his years, draws every drop of feeling from Schumann's poetic and exuberant concerto.

This week I have the honour of playing Richard Strauss’s Don Quixote at Roy Thomson Hall with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Three times. As if that weren’t enough, TSO Conductor Laureate Sir Andrew Davis, one of the world’s champion Strauss conductors, will be on the podium.
