Music Director Peter Oundjian conducts the Orchestra in Beethoven’s monumental 9th Symphony featuring an all-Canadian cast and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.
During the première of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, the music was received with such emotion that both the audience and the orchestral musicians wept. Tragically, Beethoven heard neither the music nor the applause due to his profound deafness, and he only witnessed the audience’s elation after a musician directed his attention to it.

The RTH parking garage remains open, however due to restrictions in the area, we advise patrons to access parking facilities by travelling westbound on Wellington. Outbound traffic from the garage will be encouraged to turn right and exit westbound as well. Please allow extra time traveling to and from your concert this week.
