Superstar violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter displays her astonishing versatility by masterfully performing an energetic concerto by Bach, and an emotionally intense work that Sofia Gubaidulina composed expressly for her. Beethoven's uplifting Symphony No. 5 completes the programme of this must-see event.

Please note there is a programme change for this concert. Instead of Bach’s Violin Concerto No.1, BWV 1041 (concerto in A Minor), Ms. Mutter has decided to perform Bach’s Concerto No.2 for Violin and String Orchestra (concerto in E Major). The rest of the programme will remain the same.
