Cellist supreme Yo-Yo Ma performs two works with which he has intimate connections: the elegiac concerto by Elgar (the first concerto he ever performed with the TSO), and an exotic cross-cultural piece that he commissioned from the Uzbek composer, Dmitri Yanov-Yanovsky.
