What makes great music great? Conductor Rob Kapilow takes listeners inside the music of Beethoven: he unravels, slows down, and recomposes key passages to demonstrate why Beethoven’s First Symphony is so extraordinary.

The Exposed concert series takes both new and experienced music lovers on a journey into selected major works. Hear musical excerpts and commentary, and discover what makes each piece unique and important. Concerts are presented within an informative context during the first half of the concert, followed by a complete performance of the work in the second half.

Honourary Patron of the Exposed Series: Ana P. Lopes
