2010.2011 Season
Beethoven & Tchaikovsky
Andrey Boreyko,
conductor
Piano giant Garrick Ohlsson captures the grace of
Beethoven’s Concerto No. 4, the most spiritual of his
works for piano and orchestra. Brilliant Russian maestro
Andrey Boreyko also presents Tchaikovsky’s Manfred
Symphony, an emotionally charged, large-scale work
that traces the fantastic adventures of Lord Byron’s
melancholy wanderer.
On Feb. 10 at 7:15pm, join Rick Phillips for a relaxed and enlightening discussion about the performance, with a Pre-Concert Chat in the lobby.
