Born in Ottawa, Jeff received his musical training at McGill University (Montreal) and New England Conservatory of Music (Boston). His principal teachers include Ted Griffith, Douglas Yeo and Richard Erb.
Jeff is an alumnus of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada and a former member of l'Orchestre symphonique de Québec (Quebec Symphony). A teacher of trombone and bass trombone, he is a faculty member of the University of Toronto and the Glenn Gould School.
