
Daniel Blackman is currently in his 21st season with the Toronto Symphony. Prior to his tenure with the TSO, he was a member of the Vancouver Symphony and the CBC Vancouver Orchestra. He has maintained a strong involvement with chamber music throughout his career, and was a founding member of the Vetta String Quartet. Daniel has been heard in broadcast on CBC Radio with many different chamber groups. He teaches at the University of Toronto, and is the viola coach for the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra. His other interests include wine making and bicycling.
